Brandon J. Flood
Brandon J. Flood currently serves as Chairman of the Political Action Committee for the Pennsylvania NAACP State Conference and Chairman of the Greater Harrisburg NAACP’s Community Affairs Committee. In the aforementioned roles, Mr. Flood has been adept at coalition building, conducting voter education and engagement, as well as utilizing his public platform to root out discrimination and racism within the workplace, our academic institutions and within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania generally. Mr. Flood’s primary area of expertise is state and local government, where he currently serves as Legislative Director for SEIU Pennsylvania State Council. Prior to this role, Mr. Flood served as the Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus (PLBC), where he was tasked with developing the caucus’ legislative agenda, administering its myriad statewide criminal justice/judiciary-related initiatives and providing consultation to state and local governing bodies. In addition, in his role with the PLBC, Mr. Flood was instrumental in assisting the Pennsylvania House of Representatives with establishing an equal opportunity officer position and an attendant equal opportunity advisory committee on behalf of the legislative chamber. A native son of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Mr. Flood currently resides in Steelton, Pennsylvania, where he also serves as a member of the Steelton Borough Zoning Hearing Board.
