The African American Chamber of Commerce Partners with Credit Medics LLC to Host “Build Your Credit Workshop” on Thursday, July 27, 2017.
The African American Chamber of Commerce of Central PA (AACCCP) will be hosting its “Credit Medics: Build Your Credit Workshop” as part of its Chamber U educational series on Thursday, July 27, 2017. The purpose of this intensive one-day workshop is to provide both individuals and small business owners alike with an opportunity to gain a greater understanding about how to establish, repair and leverage their credit.
“We all have heard ad nauseam about how important it is to have good personal credit. However, what is often not shared is how one goes about the task of building, repairing, or positively leveraging one’s credit. It is for this very reason that we have enlisted the services and expertise of Credit Medics LLC, a company that has built its reputation on developing easily digestible financial roadmaps for those that are truly interested in making their credit work them” said Shariah Brown, Chair of the AACCCP.
The facilitator for this workshop will be Owner/CEO of Credit Medics LLC, Rhonesha Howertown, a certified financial advisor and credit repair expert. A wide array of subjects will be discussed during this workshop, including by not limited to removing inaccurate or negative remarks from your credit report, debt settlement strategies, tips on how to realistically raise your credit score, etc. This event is scheduled to occur on Thursday, July 27, 2017, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., at Start Up Harrisburg, located at 922 N. 3rd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102. The cost to attend is $10 for AACCCP members and $30 for non-AACCCP members. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their credit reports with them. Those interested in attending are encouraged to act fast as this workshop will be space-limited. To register for this event, please visit AACCCP on the web atwww.chamberforus.org, or via Eventbrite at http://www.buildyourcredit.eventbrite.com/.
“Many people possess the misconception that in order to build wealth one has to come from wealth, which could not be further from the truth. Whether you are an individual who is simply seeking to improve their credit score to purchase a home or are a small business owner interested in leveraging your credit for the purpose of expanding the growth of your business, this is the ideal workshop for you. It is my hope that the AACCCP’s partnership with Credit Medics LLC will enable our participants to view the subject of credit through a more refined and understandable lens” said Brown.
